Aragonite

Aragonite crystallizes forming needle shaped crystals which are elongated along the c-axis. The mineral formation can also be fibrous, columnar and stalactite. Frequently the crystals will be twinned and/or inter-penetrating forming ‘sputniks’. Colours can vary from white through the colour spectrum to a pinkie red and brown.

Aragonite is said to provide for ease of centering oneself and is especially helpful during times of stress and anger.

It is also said to be good for meditation, provides insight into the causes of problems, enhances patience, reliability, combats chills and brings warmth to extremities.
