Black Obsidian

 

Black Obsidian is a lustrous volcanic glass – usually a solid black.

 

It is said to reflect ones flaws and promote a clear picture of the changes which are necessary to eliminate them.

 

Black obsidian is also and excellent grounding stone, providing for a connection from the base of the spine to the heart of the earth.

 

Also said to be very protective against emotional or physical harm, stabilises internal and external energies, shields against negativity deflecting it back to whence it came, helps healers get to the root cause of physical and emotional issues with clarity.
